Interested in foster care?

Some children cannot remain with their birth families for a whole range of reasons. Anglicare SA arranges foster care for around 590 children on any night, in the Adelaide metropolitan area.

Foster care doesn't have to be long term or full time. Foster carers can give a couple of hours a week to be adult mentors to children and young people, or help with short term or respite care. Tell us what you can do!

Full training and support is provided. Payments to foster carers are for reimbursement of costs involved in bringing up a child.
