With a charming garden setting, Dutton Court in Elizabeth East was opened in 1996.It is home to 48 low care (hostel) residents, and there are also Independent Living Units (ILUs) operating from this site.
Dutton Court is close to shops and public transport, with ample car parking available on site.
Dutton Court Hostel
- 28 single bedroom ensuite hostel (low care) rooms in two congregate houses (Acacia House & Magnolia House);
Magnolia House is set up specifically to accommodate residents with dementia.
Major additions are planned for the site in 2009-10, to enlarge the accommodation facilities. Watch this space, as updates will be made as news of the new buildings comes to hand.

Respite
- One respite place is located in Magnolia House; and
- One respite place is also located in Acacia House.
All respite bookings are organised by the Carers Respite Association, who can be contacted on free call 1800 059 059.
Independent Living Units (ILUs)
- Self-contained two bedroom ILUs are situated at Dutton Court.
Independent Living Units (ILUs) offer maximum independence, privacy and security, and are ideal for couples. Residents care for themselves independently, being responsible for their laundry, cleaning their unit, providing meals and so on.
However residents are welcome to use the communal facilities available on site, and participate in many of the social activities and programs.
If residents need additional care and support in their ILU they may apply for support services at home through Anglicare’s Community Aged Care Programs.

Lifestyle
Dutton Court residents enjoy a range of activities and outings organised by our lifestyle co-ordinator.
A chaplain is on site every week and conducts regular services.and provides pastoral care to residents, their families, staff and volunteers.

There is ample on-site and on street parking, or take bus no 228 from Adelaide, stop no 64, Kinkaid Road.
