Grandview Court
81-89 Woodend Road
, Trott Park SA 5158
Grandview Court is the newest of Anglicare’s aged care centres. Officially opened in February 2009, it houses 120 residents in four wings.
The centre offers both low and high care, therapy services, and special areas for people with dementia who require memory support.
There are also 24 assisted living units being built on site, where people can live independently. The units are expected to open in 2010.
Grandview Court has magnificent views of the surrounding hills and southern vales, out to the sea and is situated in a quiet, residential area.
Appointments and fittings in the centre are first class. There are two hairdressing salons, and the hub of the centre is a lively coffee shop.
Lifestyle
Residents enjoy a range of activities and special events. They enjoy exercising their talents to produce a range of artistic creations.
A chapel and hall is named after a pioneer of aged care in Adelaide, Dr David Game. The four areas of Grandview are named after local parishes: St Hilary’s, St Jude’s, St Aidan’s and St Francis.
The local priest, Fr Peter Simmons, is chaplain on site weekly and conducts regular services and provides pastoral care to residents, their families, staff and volunteers.
