Code of Conduct

Anglicare is reliant on and committed to a positive public image and strong professional relationships.

This is an extract from the Code of Conduct which shapes the behaviour expected of all staff and volunteers that forms part of the contract of employment.

Respect, Care & Compassion

The way we provide services and interact with people.  It requires an appreciation of the context of their situation, sensitivity to their needs and behaviour that takes account of their feelings.

A responsibility to create and maintain a safe physical and psychological environment for all.

Valuing diversity and treating all people fairly and equitably.

Quality service

Provision of high quality service and the maintenance of an effective and welcoming complaints system.

Ethical conduct

Conduct that is professional and above reproach in work and private life with duties performed in a politically neutral manner and not used for personal gain.

Duties are performed in a competent and capable manner whilst exercising best professional judgement at all times.
