Disability Services

Anglicare runs a number of programs for people with disabilities, under our Disability Support Services (DSS) program.

Anglicare provides accommodation for adults with an intellectual disability throughout the north-eastern metropolitan area of Adelaide. Between two and four people share a home with staff support ranging from occasional to full time.

Respite Support services are provided at Montrose Cottage in Netherby, for approximately 100 young people aged five–20 who have a disability, and their families. Young people spend a weekend or school holidays with us, and the service focuses strongly on community based recreation.

Anglicare is also responsible for providing help and support to approximately 50 people who have been assessed with having high and complex needs living in supported residential facilities. We provide a range of services including; community access, advocacy, personal and social support.
