Gambling Problems

If gambling is affecting you, or someone close to you, Anglicare Gambling Help Services is what you need.

Gambling Help Services begins with the person meeting with a counsellor weekly, and group sessions to share ideas, and offer advice and support. Gamblers are encouraged to identify what it is they gain from gambling, and where else they may find it.

Where gambling is affecting a family member, the Gambling Help Service offers advice to keep the family financially safe, and improve communication techniques so the gambler can be encouraged, in a non-confrontational way, to change their behaviour.

Anglicare Gambling Help Services program operates in the northern and western Adelaide metropolitan area.

Services run from 9am–5pm and after hours programs can be negotiated. Financial and therapeutic counselling and group programs are part of the service.
