Ian George Court, BromptonIan George Court is Anglicare's newest aged care
facility. It was built in 2004 with the aid of
government funding and fund raising by the Archbishop’s
Appeal.
It is centrally located at Brompton, just down Port Road from the Entertainment Centre, with on-site and street parking available. Ian George Court provides high quality unique services to 40 socially and financially disadvantaged residents who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The facility provides for special needs residents and has a fine record of achievement with many outstanding results due to the professionalism and dedication of the staff. The facility provides a safe, flexible and caring environment which allows residents to maintain their chosen lifestyles and activities. We encourage residents to be as independent as they are able to be. A range of services are available and are tailored to meet the needs of each individual resident. These include: • Support staff, 24 hours a day To become a resident of Ian George Court, you have to require both support and care — not just accommodation. Residents must be assessed by the government’s Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) prior to entry. RespiteOne place is reserved for people needing short term respite care.
